Clinical Governance — What Oversight Actually Means
Clinical oversight is not a title on a page. Here is how Dr. Zartasha's role translates into the visit the patient receives.
Therapist credentialing before every listing
Before any physiotherapist appears on the RehabNow platform, their PPTA membership number and AHPC registration are verified directly against the respective registers. No therapist joins based on a self-reported credential alone.
GPS-tracked visits reviewed for adherence
Every home visit generates a GPS timestamp confirming arrival at the patient's address and session duration. Outliers — very short sessions, late arrivals — are flagged for clinical review to identify patterns that need addressing.
WhatsApp visit reports reviewed for clinical accuracy
The structured WhatsApp visit report sent to family after every session follows a template reviewed by Dr. Zartasha. Therapists are trained on what to observe and how to document it so that overseas families receive a clinically meaningful update, not just a confirmation the visit occurred.
Video briefings for complex overseas-family cases
For patients with complex conditions — post-stroke recovery, advanced Parkinson's, post-surgical rehabilitation — Dr. Zartasha participates in video consultations with the overseas family to explain the clinical situation in plain language, set realistic recovery expectations, and answer questions directly before a care package begins.
Clinical content reviewed before publication
Every piece of health content on rehabnow.pk — condition pages, guides, blog posts — is reviewed by Dr. Zartasha before it is published. The 'Reviewed by Dr. Zartasha Saif, DPT' badge on those pages reflects an actual review, not a standard disclaimer.
Treatment protocol standards for the platform
Dr. Zartasha has designed the clinical session structure used across the platform: initial assessment format, exercise progression criteria, when to escalate to the family or treating doctor, and what a session report must contain. These are the operational standards every RehabNow therapist follows.
Credentialing & Clinical Standards
All RehabNow physiotherapists are credentialed against PPTA and AHPC registers before being listed on the platform. PMDC registration is not applicable to physiotherapists — PPTA and AHPC are the correct regulatory bodies for physiotherapy in Pakistan. Clinical content is reviewed by Dr. Zartasha Saif, DPT, before publication.
